The business was formed to meet the demand for high quality building services engineering, construction and maintenance. Trags is now recognized as the leading MEP Services Contractor in Qatar.

The scope of activities include all aspects of building services including design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of multi-service installations viz., Electrical, Air-conditioning, Mechanical, Plumbing and Sanitary Works, Instrumentation, Traffic Control Systems, Telecommunications and Fire Detection/Protection Systems.

The head offices occupy 500 sq. meters in the Jaidah Tower Office block (wholly owned by the Jaidah Group). The company also operates approximately 1700 sq. meters of enclosed stores and 850 sq. meters of computerized duct manufacturing and mechanical workshop facilities at the Salwa Industrial Estate on the outskirts of Doha.

The Company offers a comprehensive 24 hours seven days a week building services maintenance facility to Government Department and Buildings, Royal Palaces, Banks, Office Blocks, Schools, Private Villas, Department Stores etc. Current and previous Maintenance Contracts are listed under Maintenance Contracts.

TRAGS are a fully registered and approved Class ‘A’ Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Contractor with authority to execute major electrical installations. Copies of current operating licenses are included under Operating Licenses.

The Company employs an average one thousand personnel including ninety of head office engineering and support staff and the balance workforce of site foremen and operatives in the electrical, air conditioning and plumbing disciplines. By virtue of the all round capability and high standard of engineering which has been demonstrated by TRAGS since its inception, the Company has been honored to have participated in the majority of the most prestigious projects undertaken in Qatar and a representative schedule of completed and current contracts is included under Contracts which illustrates the scope and versatility of the Company. Trags has executed a number of major sub-contract works to international EPC contractors including the US Army Corps of Engineers, Chiyoda, JGC, Showa-Astec, Brown & Root, Hyundai, Daelim, Snamprogetti and Fochi.

The Company is actively engaged in the implementation of a quality assurance system meeting the requirements of BS.EN.ISO 9002:1994. All work activities at job site are carried out under strict compliance with the Company safety Policy.
